ARTIST'S STATEMENT Teina Tallarigo This piece represents the many different aspects of my spiritual life. I incorporated a castle, which is a symbol for my Irish/English heritage. The trees and ocean, elements of nature, are very important to me. The angel in the corner is hovering above everything and is a symbol for my Catholic religion. The sheet music for Phantom of the Opera is for the music, which is a part of myself.
